Matthew Herder

Matthew Herder is a lawyer and Visiting Professor at Loyola University in Chicago. He holds a Masters degree from the Stanford Program in International Legal Studies, a law degrees from Dalhousie University and a science degree from Memorial University. Matthew was a consultant to Health Canada on intellectual property issues and also worked in the intellectual property litigation group at large national law firm. He is a former law clerk at the Federal Court of Canada. Matthew's research interests focus on intellectual property and benefit-sharing in the context of health-related research. He published a number of articles and book chapters, in particular for the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development and for Health Canada.
